Introducing the long-awaited ICON v2 PADDLE – DIADEM''s latest evolution of our award-winning Icon. Still using high-quality Japanese carbon fiber in a slim frame, this racket is the ultimate weapon of the powerful player. While traditional power paddles are typically stiffer and more unforgiving, the Icon v2 incorporates several technical features to eliminate harmful vibrations, making it the most comfortable and arm-friendly power paddle Diadem has ever produced.
At its core, we''ve included our 3xL core that combines two honeycomb PP pieces, each with a density of 8mm, bonded together with a proprietary film interlayer that dampens vibration on impact. Power is easily accessible, but convenient control is available.
The Icon v2 face uses our RP2 technology, pioneered by the Vice Paddle concept. It uses our proprietary two-component polyurethane coating combined with grainy paint to create a durable, easy-to-turn face.
Finally, the Icon v2 adopts our Flex Stabilization (FS) system technology, originally used in our tennis rackets, which uses a high-density foam injection around the outer edge of the racket. This FS system combined with our Core Moulding system not only makes this racket more stable, but also increases the active sweet spot.
